My dad is just super paranoid about anything that is dangerous, especially if it involves heights. I think there are cases where people end up on their heads when Bungee Jumping, but most of those were ages ago or are do-it-yourselfers now days.

I didn’t mention the whole story cause it was too long. We had known each other since the 2nd grade and we were 7 years old! I grew up with Ben. We were really good friends from our Senior year of high school (when we were 17 and 18) on. Our first year of college he was 6 hours away at another school and drove home most weekends to see me. Sometimes he brought his girlfriend home and we would go on double dates: Ben and his girlfriend, me and my boyfriend. Other weekends he would help me study for this or that college exam or hung out with me and my boyfriend.

Ben left on his mission after his first year in college when he was 19. We wrote back and forth while he was in Brazil. His girlfriend broke up with him so she could date other guys. My boyfriend and I broke up. When Ben got home from his mission 2 years later, I was really excited for him to get home, he was my best friend.

Ben was home for 3 weeks before we started dating. We dated for the one week but really we both knew from the moment he got home that we were meant for each other. We were married just less than 5 months after he got home from Brazil. There, now you have our love story!

As for the impatience with your situation, I wish I had some great answer. I do think it is important to move out and be make it on your own but I don’t think you have to push it. Really you live for 80-100 years and of that you only live 18-25 years in your parents home. It may seem like forever now, but later on you will look at it and realize how short that time really was!

Also, wanted to add…I really like the song on your site: Storm by Lifehouse. Never heard it until today and I really like it.
